Woman charged with meth possession

A Warren County woman accused of drug charges was held without bail Wednesday.

Kelsey Lewis, 25, 119 Sherman Ave., was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of methamphetamine and hydrocodone, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

The drugs were found in Lewis’ possession when police responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of U.S. 61 South, Williams said.

One held for drug court

A Warren County woman was held without bail Thursday for drug court.

Katelyn Burton, 21, 5 Jil Marie Circle, was held in the Warren County Jail for a drug court violation.

 

Tires, trailer missing in thefts

Two sets of tires and a trailer were missing Wednesday following two thefts this week on Mississippi 27.

Tuesday morning two sets of tires with a combined value of $1,380, and a set of rims valued at $425 were reported missing from Mid South Power Sports, 580 Mississippi 27, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

The tires and rims were taken from a fenced in area of the business.

Tuesday evening an 18-foot double-axle gooseneck trailer valued at $2,500 was reported stolen from the 8500 block of Mississippi 27.

 

Antique guns missing

Three antique shotguns were missing Wednesday following a burglary in northern Warren County.

Tuesday three shotguns were repotted stolen from a utility closet of a home in the 400 block of Redwood Road, according to Warren County sheriff’s records. The guns are between 80 and 100 years old, the owner told deputies.
