The threat of icy weather in the Delta has scrambled the schedule for the Division 4-6A basketball tournament.

The tournament was supposed to begin today at Greenville High School, but will now be played Tuesday and Friday. Warren Central and Clinton’s girls teams will tip things off Tuesday at 4 p.m., and a boys’ game between Warren Central and Greenville will wrap up the first round at 8:30 p.m.

Clinton and Murrah will play a boys’ game at 5:30, and the Greenville vs. Murrah girls game is at 7.

The consolation and championship games, originally scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, have also been moved. All of them will now be played on Friday, with the girls and boys third-place games at 4 and 5:30 p.m., followed by the championship games at 7 and 8:30.

No changes are planned for the Division 4-5A tournament at Vicksburg High School or the Division 7-1A tournament at St. Aloysius, both of which are scheduled to begin on Tuesday.
