Services for the Rev. Daniel Carl Bolden Jr. will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at St. Peter M. B. Church with the Rev. Rhaji White officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Rev. Bolden died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at River Region Medical Center. He was 66. He was retired from Waterways Experiment Station and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Carl and Violet Bolden Sr.; and his brother, the Rev. Melvin Bolden.

Survivors include his wife, Jennie B. Bolden of Vicksburg; daughter, Frances Carter of Vicksburg; two brothers, Larry D. Bolden and Edward Doss, both of Vicksburg; two sisters, Dan Ethel Edwards and Carolyn Parson, both of Vicksburg; one grandchild; and  nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
