Roy Clyde Hearn died Thursday, March 5, 2015, at his home in Canton.  He was 70.

Mr. Hearn was the son of the late Howell and Wilda Hearn. He was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg until relocating to Canton 10 years ago. He was a farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Rose; his brother James; and his sisters, Shirley Hart and Mary Burditt.

He is survived by his three sons, Roy (Cindy) of Vicksburg, Carl (Sarah) of Vicksburg, and Steven (Melissa) of Edwards; his brothers, Billy and Danny, both of Vicksburg; his sisters, Margaret “Pete” Fleming of Summerville S.C.; Pansy Dean of Canton, Frances Hedrick of Vicksburg, Martha Jean Sibley of Vicksburg, Gladys Pettway of Vicksburg and Wilma Briscoe of Clinton; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Heather, Abye, Andrew, Melaiah, Adison, Cara Beth and Samuel; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation is today at Glenwood Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the funeral home with Pastor Susannah Carr officiating. Burial will follow at the Church of Christ Cemetery on Ballground Road.
