Funeral services for Janice Marie Brown will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Rose Hill Christian Church in Lorman, with the Rev. Roosevelt Harried officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, and Saturday from noon until the hour of service.

Mrs. Brown died Friday, March 6, 2015, from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was a member and choir member at Rose Hill Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Georgia Mae Brown; one brother, Melvin Brown; two sisters, Minnie L. Brown and Beatrice Bennett; three nieces, and five nephews.

Survivors include seven brothers, L.T. Burnside of Maywood, Ill., Henry Benit and Micheal Brown, both of Dallas, Warren Brown, and Eddie Brown, both of Lorman, Andrew Brown, of Holly Springs, and Carl Belle of Redlick, Miss.; eight sisters, Jearleana Bennette, Arrealis James, Jessica Brown and Deloris Burks, all of Lorman, Edna M. Kelly, of Port Gibson, Cora Carter of Cedar Hill, Texas, Patricia Flowers of Vero Beach, Fla. and Rosie Belle-Hunter of Redlick, Miss.; one uncle, Marvin Sanders of Chicago; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends.
