Travis Demps McCammon

Travis Demps McCammon died Monday, March 16, 2015, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 70.
Born in Houlka, to Jessie Henry McCammon and Janie Collums McCammon on Feb. 3, 1945, he had lived in Vicksburg for the past 48 years. He was retired from Anderson-Tully Co., and was a member of Refuge Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Collums McCammon; and brother, James McCammon.
Survivors include his sons, Travis Lee McCammon and Melvin LeRoy Winters, both of Vicksburg; brothers, Alvis McCammon of Houston, Miss., and Bob McCammon, Linnis McCammon, Danny McCammon and Jimmy McCammon, all of Vicksburg; sisters, Betty McDuff of Valley Park, Darlene McCammon of Okolona, and Vernie McCammon and Melissa Bradberry, both of Houston, Miss.; and two grandsons.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony D. Winkler officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The visitation will be at the funeral home from noon until the hour of the service.
Pallbearers will be Donny McCammon, Bob McCammon, Jonathan Winters, Jakob Prescott, Scottie Prescott, Stacy McDuff, Kody Britt, Brandon McDuff, and Billy Wayne Shields. Honorary pallbearers will be Kiley McKellor, the residents of Stonewood Apartments, and his nieces and nephews.
