The Rev. F. W. Wilson died March 26, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center.

Rev. Wilson was the pastor of Mt. Eden M. B. Church of the Valley Park Community and Morning Star M. B. Church of Eagle Lake. He was a retired employee of  Anderson-Tully.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 ½ years, Lucinda Wilson; parents, Mary and Willie Wilson; a brother, Herman Wilson; and two daughters, Shirley Wilson and Bettye Bailey; one son, Albert Wilson; and a grandson, Calvin Wilson.

Survivors include six daughters, Julia W. James, LeVern W. Powell, Dr. Dylinda Wilson-Younger and Cynthia Wilson, all of Vicksburg, Dr. Barbara Wilson of Clinton and Cheryl Wilson-Hall of Memphis, Tenn.; five sons, Barney Wilson of Vicksburg, and the Rev. Robert Wilson, the Rev. Flem Wilson Jr., Herman Wilson and the Rev. Joe Wilson of Las Vegas, Nevada; 30 grandchildren, 45  great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; two sister-in-laws; one brother-in-law, John L. Davis of Detroit; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 11a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at St. Luke Church of God In Christ with Elder Douglas Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
