PORT GIBSON — Jarvis A. Brandon of Port Gibson died Friday, June 12, 2015. He was 24.

Mr. Brandon was a member of Beechland M.B. Church and a member of Baptist Aid. He was employed by the City of Port Gibson.

Survivors include his mother, Ronda Stacker of Port Gibson; father and stepmother, Craig and Jenice Tate of Jackson; two sons, Jarvis A. Brandon Jr. and Chance Brandon, both of Port Gibson; a daughter, China Clark of Port Gibson; two sisters, Alexis Stacker of Port Gibson and Nicole Nunnery of Gloster; three brothers, Ja’Kavius Tate, Jaydon Tate and Je’Marquis Tate, all of Jackson; maternal grandmother, Bobbie Brandon of Port Gibson; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Lee Jones of Port Gibson; and aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and other relatives and friend.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Mercy Seat M.B. Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Frank McGriggs officiating. Burial will be at McCay Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 1 to 6 p.m., and Saturday at the funeral home from noon until the service.
