UTICA — Patricia B. Moore died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015 at Merit Health Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 62.

Mrs. Moore was a member of Miller Springs Church and worked at the V.A. Hospital in Jackson for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Moore Sr.; her father, Robert Barnes; and a brother, Booker T. Barnes.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur J. (Natasha) Moore Jr. of Flowood and Christopher Moore of Utica; her mother, Mamie Barnes of Utica; a brother, Robert E. Barnes of Vicksburg; four sisters, Maxine Barnes and Catherine Barnes, both of Utica, Cindy Thomas of Jackson and Allison Marbra of Hinesville, Ga.; 10 uncles; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including a special grandson, JaKevus Moore of Byram.

Funeral services will be 11a.m., Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at J.D. Boyd Gymnasium on the Hinds Community College Campus in Utica with the Rev. K.C. Frazier officiating.

Burial will be at Miller Springs Cemetery in Utica, under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday from 10a.m. until the service at the gymnasium.
