CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Maj. Betty Hart Davis of Charlotte, N.C., died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, She was 84.
Services were held Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at The Salvation Army Temple Worship Center in North Carolina with graveside rites at Evergreen Cemetery.
Born July 1, 1931, in Vicksburg, she was the child of the late Thomas F. and Lethan House Hart. She graduated from Culkin Academy in 1949 and The Salvation Army College for Officers Training in June 1951, Ambassador Session.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Maj. Ronald Davis of Charlotte, North Carolina; sons Ronald L. Davis Jr. of Cumming, Georgia, Thomas L. Davis of Grifton, North Carollina, Stanley L. Davis of Greenville, North Carolina, and Barry L. Davis of Rock Hill, South Carolina; daughters, Deborah Davis Costas of Snellville, Georgia, Lisa Davis Durand of Gainesville, Georgia; her sister Doris Hill of Vicksburg; and 12 grandchildren.
