Crash in car lot wrecks five cars
An Arkansas man was injured and five cars were damaged over the weekend after a driver crashed into a used car lot on Culkin Road.
While on patrol at 1 p.m. Saturday, Warren County Sgt. Mike Marshall noticed the crash at Mojo’s Wheels and Deals, 1331 Culkin Road, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Daniel E. Baskins of Rose Bud, Ark., was northbound on the Culkin onramp from U.S. 61 North when he failed to stop his 2004 Lincoln LS at the stop sign and crashed into the dealership parking lot, Pace said.
In addition to damaging his vehicle, Baskin struck a black 2004 Ford Mustang, a silver 1999 Chevrolet Camaro, a green 1997 Ford Mustang and a gray 2002 GMC Envoy, Pace said.
Baskins was taken to River Region Medical Center where he was treated and released.
He was cited for reckless driving and failure to show proof of insurance, Pace said. The crash remains under investigation.
