At 4:59 p.m. Sunday afternoon, a majority of Entergy customers were without power, with another outage coming around 9 p.m.

There are currently 249 Entergy customers without power on China Grove Road, Tilton Ranch Road, parts of Gibson Road and Freedom Lane off Highway 27. The outage is due trees falling on power lines.

Sheila McKinnis on belhaf of Entergy said crews and contractors are in the area working on restoring power.

“It could be up anytime between now and 2:00 p.m.,” McKinnis said.

There is no truck access to the lines, but Entergy does have special equipment to fix the issue.
