Detour only for Eagle Lake residents

A headline in today’s newspaper about community officials meeting with Eagle Lake residents due to potential flooding is incorrect.

Eagle Lake residents are not facing evacuation. Officials went to great lengths to assure Eagle Lake residents they will not face flooding or an evacuation during the anticipated January flood.

They will face a detour to get to their property.
