Vehicle missing

A vehicle was missing Wednesday following a theft reported Tuesday in Warren County.

At 10:16 a.m. Tuesday a navy blue 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix was reported stolen from the parking lot of a business located on Mississippi 61 North, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

The vehicle has a broken driver side mirror, cracked taillights and a licenses plate number of 747DEA, according to sheriff’s records.

Items stolen from home

Shoes and speakers were missing Tuesday following a burglary reported Sunday in Vicksburg.

At 5 p.m. Sunday, three pairs of tennis shoes and a blue tooth speaker were reported stolen from a home on the 400 block of Lake Hill Drive, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

 

One held for two new charges

A Warren County man accused of obtaining taken property was held without bail Tuesday.

Winston Lyons, 40, 100 Big Mama Drive, was charged by the county with two counts of receiving stolen property, according to Warren County jail records. Lyons was already in custody on a conspiracy to commit a crime charge by the city, according to records. The new charges stem from the same Jan. 11 incident, accoring to sheriff’s records.

 

One held for theft

A Knoxville, Tenn. man accused of theft of personal property was held without bail Tuesday.

William Dickinson, 28, 5755 Salem Church Road Knoxville, Tenn., was arrested on a capias warrant Tuesday and charged with grand larceny, according to Warren County jail records.

 

One held for burglary

A Vicksburg man accused of entering a building and intending to commit a crime was held without bail Tuesday.

Patrick Thomas, 20, 1103 Avenue D, was arrested on a capias warrant Friday and charged with burglary, according to Warren County jail records.

 

One held for illegal possession of weapon

A man accused of having a weapon after a conviction was held without bail Tuesday.

Christopher Walker, 37, no address given, was arrested on a capias Friday and charged with felon in possession of weapon, according to Warren County jail records.
