Laptop missing from vehicle

A laptop was missing Monday following a burglary reported in Vicksburg.

At 8:30 p.m. Friday, an Apple laptop worth $1,200 was reported stolen by forced entry from a 1998 GMC Sierra parked in the Walmart parking lot, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

 

Games missing from home

A console and games were missing Monday following a burglary reported Saturday  in Warren County.

At 4:28 p.m. Saturday, an Xbox, two controllers and 22 games were reported stolen from a home on the 200 block of Smith Place, according Warren County sheriff’s records.

 

One arrested for possession

A Warren County man accused of having a felony amount of marijuana was arrested Monday.

Curtis Ross, 20, 1731 Oak Ridge Road, was arrested on a traffic stop at 6:30 a.m. Monday on the 2700 block of Alcorn Drive and charged with possession of marijuana, Williams said.

 

One arrested on two different possessions

A Vicksburg man accused of having drugs and weapons was arrested Saturday.

Germaine Franklin, 34, 1322 Spring St., was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Saturday on the 1100 block of Bowmar Avenue and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a weapon by a felon, Williams said.

 

One arrested for having a firearm

A Port Gibson man accused of having a gun was arrested Friday.

Jabari McGrew, 26, 1402 Bridewell Lane, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Friday on the 600 block of Cherry Street and charged with possession of firearm being a felon, Williams said.
