Teen charged in burglary

A Vicksburg teen accused of breaking into a business was held without bail Tuesday.
Lee Quinn McCloud, 17, 1711 Grove St. Apt. 1, was arrested at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Vicksburg Police Department after he was transferred there from youth court, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said. He was charged with one count of business burglary.
Judge Johnny Price certified McCloud as an adult in youth court Monday.
McCloud is one of three suspects in the Friday night break-in of USA Pawn, 235 Warrenton Road, Williams said.
The first suspect, Thaddius McCloud, was arrested about 2 a.m. Friday after officers responding to the alarm at the pawnshop arrived to see him fleeing the business.
The investigation continuing on the third suspect, Williams said.
Four held for assault incidentÂ
Two Warren County men, a Tallulah man and a juvenile accused of beating someone up were held without bail Thursday.
Keith Oliver, 20, 74 Red Oak Road; Kyle Parrish, 19, 35 Stillwater Drive; Andrew Patterson, 18, 203 Albert St. Apt. 2, Tallulah, La., were arrested Tuesday and charged with kidnapping, according to Warren County jail records.
After 7 p.m. Tuesday the family of a 17-year-old male called 911 to report he had been abducted from the 1600 block of Jeff Davis Road, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Witnesses said they heard him as the car sped off, Pace said.
The victim was left on Wright Road where he got assistance back home and then to Merit Health River Region Medical Center and eventually the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson with injuries to the head and face consistent with assault, Pace said. He was released Wednesday afternoon, Pace said.
The suspects were found on the 100 block of Blackmon Road in a Hyundai Accent, Pace said.
After interviewing the victim and suspects information was presented to District Attorney Ricky Smith and the three were charged with kidnapping and the juvenile is being held in youth court, Pace said.
Their initial appearance is scheduled for Thursday, Pace said. The investigation is continuing, he said.
Man held for drugs
A Vicksburg man accused of selling drugs was held without bail Wednesday.
Rashad Neal, 21, 780 U.S. Highway 61 North, was arrested at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday and charged with sale of methamphetamine, Williams said.
