Carolyn Brewer Rosamond went home to her heavenly father and loved ones on June 8, 2016, surrounded by her family at her home.
Born in Kosciusko to Guy and Lois Moffett, she had two brothers, Tony and Kim, and a sister Chris.
She married Webber E. Brewer and made their home in Vicksburg.
Carolyn and Webber raised their five children and she was active in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She was a positive force in the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her, always with a warm smile and a story to tell, which was usually about her family.
She was a talented cook and loved preparing meals for family and friends. She was an active member of her faith; even if she was unable to attend church she continued to spread the word of the love of her Christ.
She is survived by her five children, all of Vicksburg, Tracey (Oliver) Hogan, Kim (Hank) Cain, David (Alison) Brewer, Kiely (Jason) McKellar and Benjamin Brewer; brothers Tony (Sarah) Moffett of Vicksburg, Kim Rodney Moffett of Kosciusko and Kim Taylor Moffett.
She had 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death and welcomed at the gates of heaven by her sister, Chris Moffett Porter, grandmother, Margaret McBride; mother, Wilma Deloris Moffett; father Guy Lawson Moffett; and husbands, Webber Brewer and Donald Rosamond.
Visitation will be at Glenwood Funeral Home Sunday, June 12, 2016, from 4 to 6 p.m.
The service will be Monday, June 13, 2016, at 10 a.m. at the Glenwood Chapel. A private burial for invited guests and immediate family will follow the service.
