The city of Vicksburg has issued a boil water notice because of a broken waterline affecting residents in the area bounded by Martin Luther King on the South, Mission 66 and Lovers Lane on the West, Lovers Lane on the North and Confederate Avenue on the East.

City water customers should boil their drinking and cooking water vigorously for two minutes before using or find an alternate source of water.
