A husband and wife are in the Warren County Jail in lieu of bonds of $20,000 each charged with burglary after their arrest Saturday on U.S. 61 South, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Charles Tyler Ferrington, 24, and his wife, Megan Stauts Ferrington, are accused of breaking into a home in the 4800 block of Fisher Ferry Road and taking jewelry, luggage and antique silver. The couple was arrested after the homeowner walked into a pawnshop on South Washington Street, saw Charles Ferrington trying to sell some of the jewelry and called authorities. Ferrington ran out of the store dropping some of the items as he fled.

The Ferringtons were later arrested as they were walking along U.S. 61 South. Most of the items taken in the burglary were recovered, Pace said.
