To the editor:

On behalf of the Vicksburg Convention Center, I would like to give a huge thank you to the many organizations and individuals that supported the 4th Annual Ritz on the River!

The Downtown Band wowed the jam-packed room with their fun performance and energy. It was an exciting evening that brought the community together to dance the night away.

We would like to give much appreciation to the numerous sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who made this event the roaring success it became.

A huge thank you to the Ritz on the River premier Ritzy sponsor, Mutual Credit Union, along with major support from Lady Luck Casino & Hotel, Loft’s at First National Luxury Apartments, VenuWorks, City of Vicksburg (Board of Mayor and Aldermen).

Our treble sponsors were Ameristar Casino & Hotel, C Spire, Guaranty Bank and Trust Company, Mississippi DJ Services, Riverwalk Casino & Hotel, Trustmark National Bank, Scott Robbins Physical Therapy, Vicksburg Convention & Visitors Bureau, Vicksburg Insurance Agency, The Vicksburg Post, Waterview Casino & Hotel, and WLBT.

Volunteers and support came from so many. Recognition and thanks go to Jaime Coon for designing and creating the beautiful backdrop that made our ’20s theme come to life; Bill and Susan Marcy for providing the wonderful keepsake photos; Mason Ashley, DJ Cochran, Matt Gullett, Alaina Huskey, Walter Osborne, Cathy Sanford, Riley Wilkerson, and WCHS Volleyball Team for volunteering their time to make the event the success that it was and a special part of the decorations were donated by Diana Hughes.

Ritz on the River was a magical night of celebration and fun as we celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the VCC. We look forward to hosting the 5th Annual Ritz on the River in July 2018!
