Sarah Horton Boykin

Sarah Horton Boykin passed away on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017. She was 84.
A native of Hollandale, she was born April 30, 1933, to the late Evie G. and Eva
Elizabeth Horton Deaton. She was a former resident of Anguilla, where she worked at Bank of Anguilla for 15 years. She had been a resident of Madison for many years, retiring from the Mississippi Department of Archives and History with over 15 years of service. She was a member of Madison United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Katrina Boykin, in 1986.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, T.D. (Sonny) Boykin Jr., of Brandon; a daughter, Kathy Martin (Jerry), of Anguilla; a son, Tommy Boykin (Tammy), of Brandon; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Friends are invited to visitation with the family after 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at Madison United Methodist Church, 100 Post Oak Road, Madison, MS 39110, where the memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Barry Male Jr., pastor, officiating. Private Inurnment for family will be at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Columbarium in Madison.

In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
