Jack Winston Tillotson Jr.

Jack Winston Tillotson Jr., 65, of Pearl died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood.

Jackie was born at the Naval Hospital in Millington, Tenn., on Sept. 21, 1952, to Barbara and Jack Tillotson Sr. He grew up in Vicksburg and graduated from Warren Central High School in 1970.  

Jackie married Kim Tucker in 1979 and they had two sons, Adam Nathaniel and Jonathan Kyle.

Jackie was a welder at R. G. LeTourneau for 10 years and then worked many years as a security guard at Grand Gulf Nuclear power plant near Port Gibson.

He was a longtime member of Flowood Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and was active in Sunday school and the adult choir.

Jackie loved sports and enjoyed playing golf as a young man.  

Jackie is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Kaleigh Kibby Tillotson and their two sons, Kaiden and Easton of Brandon; his mother, Barbara Tillotson of Vicksburg; and his five siblings and their spouses, Barbara and Keith Bennett of Anchorage, Ark., Kevin and Karen Tillotson of Tupelo, and Rick and Julie Tillotson, Jamie and Jennifer Tillotson, and Chris and Celeste Tillotson of Vicksburg. In addition to many other members of his large extended family, he is survived by his mother and father-in-law, Truman and Shelby Jean Tucker of Decatur and their family.    

Jackie was predeceased by his wife, Kim Tucker Tillotson; his son, Adam; his father, Jack Tillotson Sr.; and his nephew, Stephen Tillotson.  

Funeral services for Mr. Tillotson were held at Flowood Baptist Church on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017. Interment followed at the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery near Pelahatchie.

Memorial donations may be made in Jackie’s name to Flowood Baptist Church.
