Carolyn “Lyn”” Aden Jarshaw

Carolyn “Lyn” Aden Jarshaw died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was 63.
Lyn was born in Vicksburg and grew up in Valley Park. She graduated from high school at Sharkey-Issaquena Academy in Rolling Fork. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of science in pharmacy. She received a doctor of pharmacy from the University of Florida.
Lyn worked at multiple VA Medical Centers in Florida, California, Mississippi and Oklahoma as a clinical pharmacist, and at times a supervisor.
Lyn was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed.
She was a member of Goodman Memorial United Methodist Church in Cary.
Lyn was preceded in death by her father, Louis McPherson Aden and her stepfather, Lawrence T. Wade Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Martin L. Jarshaw of Edmond, Okla.; daughters, Jane Jarshaw, Christen Jarshaw and Catherine Jarshaw of Edmond, Okla.; mother, Jane Aden Wade of Vicksburg; brother, Merritt Aden (Debi) of Redwood; sister, Nancy Aden Wansley (David) of Vicksburg; nephews, Jared Aden of Redwood, Aden Wansley of Vicksburg and Steen Wansley (Anna) of Madison; great niece, Rivers Wansley; great nephew, Will Wansley.
A memorial service will be scheduled for family members and close friends at a later date in Edmond, Okla.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
