Linda K. Goode died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at Merit Health River Region. She was 66.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, she loved her grandchildren with her whole heart and loved to read.

She was employed with Cooper Lighting for over 20 years working in the shipping department; also, at River Region as EVS and at the Vicksburg-Warren School District Transportation Department as a bus driver for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Terry M. and Margie Smith Kleinman; great-grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her daughter, Chrissy M. (Ryan J.H.) Raney of Vicksburg; two grandsons, Billy K. Jr. (Jesse) Hedrick and Tristan M.W. Hedrick and one great-grandson, Hunter C.W. Hedrick, all of Vicksburg; one brother, Larry M. Kleinman of Vicksburg and Texas; and two nephews, Warren Kleinman and Jeff Kleinman, both of Texas.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. Thursday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Billy Hedrick Jr., Tristan Hedrick, Lee Kennedy, Keathon Anderson, Todd Brooks, Dakota Merritt, Bobby Raney and Roy Landrum.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Hodge, Jeff Kleinman, Warren Kleinman and the Vicksburg Warren School District Transportation Department.
