Teresa Ann Nowell, 60, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at Merit Health River Region. She was born on July 22, 1957, in Vicksburg and was a current resident of Redwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezell “PeeWee” Emrick and Virginia Dobbs Emrick and her sister, Kitty Faye Hunt.

She is survived by her husband, Rufus Dan Nowell Sr.; two sons, Rufus Dan Nowell Jr. (Patricia) and William Kelly Nowell (Katina); seven grandchildren; a brother, Dannie Emrick; two sisters, Shirley May and Debbie McDaniel, all of Vicksburg; and numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, from noon to 1 p.m. at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with funeral services at 1 p.m. and interment to follow at Cedar Hills Cemetery.
