LEARNED — Sawyer Temple, 23, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, as a result of a hunting accident in Warren County.

Visitation was held Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Learned.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lebanon Presbyterian Church.

Sawyer attended REBUL Academy and graduated from Benton Academy in 2013. He worked as a Trim Carpenter while being a student at Hinds Community College. He planned to pursue a degree in Architecture. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, baseball, playing guitar and woodworking. 

He was preceded in death by his father, George Temple.

He is survived by his mother, Jan Hines Temple of Raymond; sisters, Samantha Edwards (Shane) and Ali Edwards (Blake) of Raymond; he also leaves behind many friend including his girlfriend, Clare Tillman.
