Gerald “Jerry” Kelly

Gerald “Jerry “ Kelly died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 at his residence. He was 80.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, he was the owner and operator of Nick’s Auto Parts for over 45 years.  He was a member of and served as secretary/treasurer for St. Alban’s Hunting Club, the Fisher Ferry Fire Dept. and the Highland Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Kelly of Vicksburg; his two sons, Scott Kelly and Alan “Smokey” Kelly and wife Ginger, of Vicksburg; his sister, Maureen Parker of Monroe, La.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Ivey officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be J.R. Reaves, Jason Pugh, David Pugh, Steve Rundell, Shane Rowland and Rusty Fuller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Lee Giffin, Johnny Price, Red Fuller, Members of St. Alban’s Hunting Club and the Staff of the V.A. Medical Center in Jackson.
