Jimmy “Tinker” Huskey

Jimmy “Tinker” Huskey, 78, died Feb. 10, 2018, at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Green Acres Cemetery in Vicksburg. The Rev. Larry Harvey will officiate.

Mr. Huskey was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a master electrician at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Plant in Gulfport; he attended Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Mr. Huskey is survived by his wife, Barbara Huskey of Kosciusko; two sons, Jimmy D. Huskey of Kosciusko, Skeet (Jennie) Huskey of Trenton, Ill., stepson, Anthony (Alicia) Fowler of Ethel; daughter, Debra Rodgers of Kosciusko; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Huskey of Utica and Jerry Huskey of Florence; a sister, Ann Lott of Terry; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Those preceding him in death are his parents, Homer Skeet and Callie Riggs Huskey; and two brothers, Todd Huskey and Gene Huskey.
