Elizabeth “Libby” Garrett died Thursday, March 1, 2018. She was 94.

Mrs. Garrett was the daughter of the late John Thomas Jerkins and Eula Boykin Jerkins. She was a retired purchasing agent with the U. S. Government. Mrs. Garrett was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by a daughter, Kay Boolos (David); son, Michael B. Garrett (Ann); and five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her husband, Benton McMillin Garrett Jr.; and her brother, Charles Jerkins.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018, in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Central Mississippi Cancer Society.

Pallbearers will be Philip Jabour, Jerry Dean, Buddy Lofton, David Boolos, Jimmy Turner and Mark Posey.
