Marty Nolan of Vicksburg was called to be with his Savior on March 3, 2018. A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Bovina Baptist Church. Dr. Chip Starnes and Bro. Brian Parker will be officiating. The interment will follow at Greenlawn Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 5 to 8 pm at Riles Funeral Home.

Marty served as a Deacon of Bovina Baptist Church. He had a career that spanned 37 ½ years with Ergon Refinery. Marty loved spending time with family, friends, and especially those who called him Papa. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and LSU fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Nolan and a sister, Joyce Laird, all or Tallulah, La.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jan Hopkins Nolan; daughter and son-in- law, Mysti and Trenton Owen; granddaughters, Mia Grace and McKinley Owen: also, sisters, Betty Sue Rowan and Sarah McVay; brother, Charles Nolan, Jr., and brother-in- law, Dewey Laird.

Survivors also include his special friends, the Sam Haas Family, the Perry Ellis family and the Gerry Ellis family.

Pallbearers will be Sam Haas, Tre Haas, Tyler Haas, JJ Hughes, Perry Ellis, Gerry Ellis, and Blake Ellis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Allen, Wiley Hambright, Ryan Ellis, Reid Ellis, and the Friendship Sunday school Class of Bovina Baptist Church
