Funeral Services for Juanita Fults Wyatt will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Greater Grove Street Church.

Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2018, from 1 to 7 p.m. at C J Williams Mortuary Services with family present at 6 p.m. and repose at the church from noon until the hour of service Saturday.

Juanita graduated from Rosa A. Temple High School in 1970. After high school, she served in the military for 15 years and was recognized as the “First African American Woman” to join the 412th Theater Engineer Command (United States Army Reserves). Juanita served both in Europe and Hawaii as a finance clerk for the military.

She was a beloved member of the Stanfield New Life Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Fults; her sons, Kenneth E. Fults and Michael E. Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Tamiko Wright (Larry) of McKinney, Texas; her mother, Doreatha Calvin of Vicksburg; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers; four sisters; and a host of other relatives.
