Lewis Kade Hatcher

ROLLING FORK — Lewis Kade Hatcher, 72, of Rolling Fork passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018, in Jackson.

He was born in Tippah County on June 29, 1945, to Earl and Vera Holliday Hatcher.

Mr. Hatcher served as Issaquena county supervisor from 1996 to 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Vera Holliday Hatcher; wife, Becky Hatcher; brothers, Bobby and Stacy Hatcher; and sisters, Jean Barksdale and Louise Stewart.

Survivors include his sons, Eddie Hatcher and wife, Dede of Rolling Fork, Britton Hatcher and wife, Emily of Grenada, Dean Hatcher and wife, Jessica of Rolling Fork; and stepchildren, Melissa Milton of Bolton, Monica Boatman and husband, Ray of Vicksburg and Robert Monk and wife, Pam of Senatobia; brothers, Freddy Hatcher and Jimmie Hatcher; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork Friday, March 9, 2018, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and services following at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ripley on Saturday, March 10, 2018, with graveside services at 2 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Hatcher, Britton Hatcher, Dean Hatcher, Michael Hatcher, Randall Hatcher and Kery Hatcher.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Board of Supervisors of Issaquena County, Dr. Danny Jackson, Milton Goza, Charles Weissinger, Mark Hooker, Jack Wheeler, Richard Patrick, Burt Darden, Norman Browning and Doug Moore.
