To the editor:

“Armed, well trained staff members” teaching in our schools? NO, NO, NO.

I taught school for more than 20 years. My daughter is presently teaching school and she has taught for 20 plus years.

PLEASE, security is the job of law enforcement. Produce, instead, legislation that funds armed security law enforcement professionals for every school in Mississippi.

(Wonder if the SEC would back that proposal)
