PETAL — Marvin R. Winstead Sr., 75, of Richton died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at his home.

Services will be Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 3 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal followed by burial in Forrest Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Winstead served in the United States Army and retired after 40 years as regional director for Land O Lakes, formerly SF Services.

Mr. Winstead was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and LV Creel Winstead; his wife, Betty L. Winstead; and three brothers, James A. Winstead, Phillip Q. Winstead and Charles B. Winstead.

He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Edwards of Richton; one son and daughter-in-law, Marvin Ray and Amy Winstead Jr.; four grandchildren, Casey Edwards, Regan Winstead, Ethan Winstead and Paxton Winstead; three sisters, Laverne Parker of Yazoo City, Glenda Sue Millwood of Yazoo City and Delores Ann Jenkins of Lexington; his best friend, Kathy Breland and special friend, David Readlinger. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
