Thank you to those who stopped at grandson’s lemonade stand

To the editor:

Saturday morning, my daughter took my 11-year-old grandson to the store and he bought lemons and sugar, went home and made real lemonade by himself.

He put up a stand at the end of his driveway that intersected Redwood Road. The lemonade was free, to whoever stopped and wanted a cup. He had several nice visitors. The experience was good for him. He learned how to greet and serve people in the proper way. So in return, they gave him a good donation. I was impressed at how the people reacted and still have a kind heart when children are involved in something.
