James Edward Spray “Jimbo”

James Edward Spray “Jimbo”, 68, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018, after a lengthy illness.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving in the US Army. After discharge, he worked in heavy construction, living in Colorado for 30 years, before returning to Vicksburg to marry the love of his life, Michelle Harmon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita Craft and father, JE Spray; and a brother, Ricky.
He is survived by wife, Michelle; sons, Matthew Spray and Jason Spray; one grandson, Ashton; step-children, Kristina, Tiffany, Blake, and Jeremy Carroll; sister, Nita Faye Fletcher; niece, Tabitha Beckley; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, March 23, at Riles Funeral Home from 5 to 8 pm.
A memorial gathering will be with family only at the home of deceased and his wife.
The family wishes to thank St. Joseph Hospice, Dr. Paul Pierce IV, and DJ Silvio for the care received and a special thanks to his cousin, Tamara Warnock, for her loving care and devotion to him for the time he was here at the home.
