The Vicksburg Warren School District Board of Trustees elected officers at its regularly scheduled board meeting Thursday.

Bryan Pratt was reelected as president of the board.

“We have a lot to accomplish related to passing the bond. We have a great board that has a great vision and I look forward to continuing to serve them over the coming year,” Pratt said.

Alonzo Stevens was elected vice-president of the board.  Stevens was not present at the meeting and the election was held with the understanding that if he decides to decline the position the board will revote on the position in April.

Joe Loviza was reelected as secretary of the board.

Also at Thursday’s meeting, the board approved Team-456 Siege Robotic to travel to Houston, Texas for the FIRST World Championships April 18-21 and honored the team for its first place finish at the Bayou Regional over the weekend where they earned a berth in championships.
