Priscilla “Prissy” Lott

BRANDON — Priscilla “Prissy” DeBoe Lott, 70, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 9, 2018, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, April 13, 2018, all at Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon.
Mrs. Lott was born in Vicksburg to the late Freeman C. DeBoe and Hasseltine Brooks DeBoe. She was a 1966 graduate of St. Frances Xavier High School in Vicksburg and attended Hinds Junior College. Mrs. Lott, a former resident of South Jackson, moved to Brandon 24 years ago and at one time, lived in Casper, Wyo.
She was a former member of Woodville Heights Baptist Church and a longtime member of Alta Woods Baptist Church, where she was a member of the chancel choir and Joy Singers, serving as president.
Mrs. Lott loved to cook, enjoyed traveling, shopping and reading and was a retired educator with Rankin County Public Schools. She was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother and one who loved people and she was well loved.
Survivors include her husband of almost 50 years, Billy “Hal” Lott Jr. of Brandon; sons, Bill Lott III of Brandon, Joel Lott and fiancee Stephanie Parker, both of Brandon and Andy Lott (Ashley) of Watkinsville, Ga.; sister, Connie Tanner of Vicksburg; grandchildren, Ashlyne Lott, Lily Lott, Lacy Lott, Jacob Lott, Tyler Lott, Seth Lott, Emilee Parker and Andrew Parker; sister-in-law, Rebecca Canzoneri; nieces; nephews; extended family; and a host of friends.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Neuro Staff in ICU at St. Dominic Hospital for their love and compassion shown to Mrs. Prissy Lott and her family during her stay.
