Alice Isabel McLeod

Alice Isabel Cole McLeod went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, April 17, 2018. She was born October 1920 to Russel Graham Cole and Addie Alberta Hackler, now deceased. She was a lifelong resident of the Oak Ridge Community and a nurse for over 35 years at the Vicksburg Hospital. She was a loving mother to five sons and a beloved member of Bovina UMC. She loved her flowers and even mowed her own yard up until last year.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Emmett McLeod Jr.; two sons, John Russell McLeod and David Dean McLeod; four brothers, James Russell Cole, Zane Grey Cole, John Scott Cole, Joseph Dean Cole; and a sister, Annie Katherine Cole Bufkin.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Emmett McLeod III (Debbie), Ronald Lynn McLeod (Betty) and Donald Ray McLeod; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are Henry Williams, Johnnie Griffin, Robert Redditt, Carl Pettway, Robert Sibley, Dr. Russell Barnes and Dr. Chris Clark.
Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. before services at 2:30 p.m. at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Herron presiding.
Interment will follow at St. Albans Episcopal Church on Warriors Trail.
