Vicksburg police Sgt. Johnnie Edwards said the robbery occurred about 11:57 a.m. when a man described as having a light complexion and a “scraggly” beard entered the store, displayed a handgun to the lone employee in the building and demanded money.
“He had a folder that was stapled on both sides that he had the clerk put the money in,” Edwards said.
