‘Golf 4 Paws’ set for May 18 at Clear Creek

The second annual “Golf 4 Paws” Charity Golf Tournament will be held May 18 at Clear Creek Golf Course to benefit Paws Rescue.

Paws Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter that has been open in Vicksburg since 2004, and all of the proceeds from the tournament will go towards the rescue expenses of the animals who are being cared for there.

Lunch and registration begin at 12, and the tournament kicks off at 1 p.m.

A four-person scramble costs $70 per person or $280 per team, and the tournament is limited to 18 teams of four players each. The deadline for entry receipt is May 15.

The deadline for business sponsors is May 9, and sponsor options include: $100 to sponsor a hole, $280 to sponsor a team, $500 for a silver sponsor, which includes two holes with banner and advertising, $1,000 for a gold sponsor that includes one team, one hole sponsorship with banner and advertising, and $2,500 for a platinum sponsor, which includes two teams and two hole sponsorships with banner and advertising.
