Mason Drake Cummings passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018, as a result of an automobile wreck on Highway 465. He was 20 years old.

Mason was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. He attended Northside Baptist Church and Refuge Church. He worked for Ergon Refinery as a welder and pipe fitter and part-time at Patriot Motorsports. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John T. Cummings; maternal great-grandfather, Lacy Scallions; maternal great-grandmother, Beatrice Ford Scallions; cousins, David Scallions, Hunter Rogers, Blake Goss; and uncles, Roger Redditt and Billy Wayne Redditt.

He is survived by his mother, Johnna Lacie Henson (Jasper); father, Glenn Redditt (Kristy), biological father, Richard Joseph Cooper Sr. (Tammie); four brothers, Kurt Landon Tippen, Jasper Henson III, Kenneth Barrentine and Jay Cooper; five sisters, Jacie Grace Redditt, Emma Fallyn Redditt, Hannah Jade Henson, Madalyn Flick, and Emma Grace Pittman; maternal grandmother, Debroah Cummings; paternal grandparents, Joe and Carolyn Redditt.

Visitation will be Friday, May 11, 2018, from noon to 2 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home with services in the chapel at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ted Crotwell officiating. Burial will follow in Redditt Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kurt Tippen, Jason Hart, Corbin Rogers, Jacob Prescott, John Hart, Jimmie Hart, James Atchley, Dalton Downs, and Matt Nolan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Cooper, Kenneth Barrentine, Hoyt Hogan, Jeff Bockman, Charles Pettway, Michael Noble, James Michael Strickland, Dustin Bockman, Ryan Bockman and Gordon Downs.
