Funeral services for Walter Field “Fed” Watson Jr. will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at Bethlehem M.B. Church, 3055 N Washington St., with the Rev. June Chiplin Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home. 

Walter Field Watson Jr. passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was 67. 

He had worked for Williams Funeral Service and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Johnson Watson Sr.; and his daughters, Diane King and Sharonda Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Dianna Watson of Vicksburg, his five sons, Walter Graves, Robert Graves, Cedric Windfield, Patrick Winfield and John Ross, all of Vicksburg; his six daughters, Daphne King Butler, Buffy Williams, Shanika Griffin, Angela Rankin, Diana Ross and Kenitra Mayfield, all of Vicksburg; his sisters, Inez Carson, Bessie Watson, Edith Caples, Delores Watson, Lillie Stubs and Addie Clark, all of Vicksburg; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
