Graduates walk through Bowmar

Published 6:25 pm Friday, May 18, 2018

Members of the local graduating Class of 2018 walked the hallways of Bowmar Elementary Thursday, slapping hands and high-fiving the elementary students, while also getting hugs and congratulations from their former elementary teachers and faculty.

Bowmar 6th-grade teacher Carolyn Bradley wiped away tears as former Bowmar Elementary students and high school seniors left a classroom during the graduate walk-through down the halls of Bowmar Elementary.

Porters Chapel Academy will have graduation Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Vicksburg Auditorium, while the three other local schools will have ceremonies next weekend.
