YAZOO CITY — James Raiford Potter, 84, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018, at The Martha Coker Green Homes in Yazoo City.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Center Ridge Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior.

Mr. Potter was preceded in death by his parents. John and Alline Potter; and wife Evie Newton Potter.

He is survived by stepchildren, Anne Ketchum of Oxford, Bill (Patty) Neal of Vicksburg, Becky (Bubber) Peterman, Debbie (Joe) Buckley and Jim (Marilyn) Neal all of Yazoo City, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
