Irene Ozell Hedrick went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was 99 years old.

Mrs. Hedrick was born in Sunflower County and had lived in Vicksburg most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Hedrick; sons, Curtis D. Hedrick, James David Hedrick, and Patrick B. Hedrick; sister, Nora A. Pickel; and grandsons, Cory Hedrick, Ivan Foster, Galan Foster and Lenny Foster.

She was a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by a son, Michael Hedrick (Frances); two daughters, Zelda L. Kackley (Jim), and Sherry Kay Hambright (Wiley); 12 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Case officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Hedrick, Mark Foster, Michael Hedrick, Andrew Hedrick, Patrick Hedrick, James Hedrick, Benjamin Hambright and Nicholas Stump.
