Edgar “Sonny” Massey

Edgar “Sonny” Massey, 73, passed away at Merit Health River Region Monday, June 18, 2018.

Mr. Massey was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Massey; a son, Lyel H. Massey; and one sister, Franice Heno.

He is survived by two sons, Virgil Massey and Edgar (Doon) Massey III; two daughters, Kay Roberts and Susie Massey; one brother, Charles (Mary) Massey; one sister, Carolyn Roberts; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Uncle Sonny will be greatly missed.

Service will be at McNeese Morris Funeral Home in Fulton Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 11:30 a.m.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Davis Moulden, Michell Moulden, Steven Moulden, and grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be Virgil Massey, Burten Hynum and Chad Massey. Memorials can be made to Goodrum Baptist Church in honor of Sonny Massey.
