Beverly Ann Brown died Thursday, June 28, 2018. She was 55.

Beverly was born October 15, 1962, in Vicksburg. She was the only daughter of Doris Barnes Brown and Warren Dale Brown Sr.

Beverly was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, Floyce and George

Barnes and Evelyn and J.C. Brown; and a number of aunts and uncles.

Beverly leaves two brothers, Warren Dale Brown Jr. (Sonya) and David Mitchell Brown (Carol). She also leaves eight nieces and nephews and lots of wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Beverly was a special person whose heart was filled with love that radiated to all that she came in contact with. She had many friends and brought joy to everyone she met.

Beverly had Downs’ Syndrome and left home at age 17 on a trial basis to gain her independence and find her way in this world. She was successful in every way, returning home 35 years later when she was struck with Alzheimer’s Disease and intracranial hemorrhages (strokes) common in older persons who have Downs’ Syndrome. Beverly lived at home with her mom at the time of her death.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 30, 2018, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m. at Riles Funeral Home.

Graveside services will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
