BENTON, Ky. — Mr. William McKneely Jr., age 66, of Benton, Ky., died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at his home.

He was a retired coal miner for Kinder Morgan.

Born Wednesday, Sept. 19, 1951, in Vicksburg, he was the son of the late William Smith McKneely and the late Edith (Andrews) McKneely.

Surviving are son, Troy McKneely of Calvert City, Ky.; daughter, Marcy Howell husband Robert of Benton, Ky.; brother, the Rev. James McKneely and wife Debbie of Vicksburg; sisters, Sherrill Curtis and husband Donald of Vicksburg, Gayla Smith of Vicksburg, Lillian “Bubbles” Williamson of Vicksburg, Mary Taylor and husband Earnest of Vicksburg; and grandchild, Leland Howell.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018, at Paradise Cemetery in Livingston Co., Ky., with the Rev. James McKneely officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W. 5th St., Benton, Ky.

Interment will be at Paradise Cemetery, Grand Rivers, Ky.
