Two Warren County teenagers face theft charges after their arrest Saturday, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Justin Christopher Twilley, 16, 5034 U.S. 61 South, and Nathan Wade Rowell, 18, whose address was given as Stafford Drive, Delta, La., face charges of two counts of auto burglary and one count of receiving stolen property.
They are being held without bail in the Warren County Jail pending an initial court appearance Monday. Pace said Twilley was certified to be charged as an adult after his arrest in April for auto theft.
Twilley was arrested by deputies Saturday morning at a home on Crockett Road, Pace said. Rowell was arrested when he was seen trying to hitch a ride on U.S. 61 North, north of Culkin Road.
The pair are accused of two auto burglaries on Old Highway 27, in which a .380-caliber handgun was reported taken. The receiving stolen property charge involves a 2004 Honda Accord reported stolen July 18 from the LoSto Road area of Eagle Lake that was seen parked at the home where Twilley was arrested.
